College Application Week
November 16 - November 20

Every senior should take this opportunity to apply to one or more colleges this week.

You will fill out applications in the Writing lab during you English class or you will be scheduled with an individual appointment if you don't have an English class this semester. Remember to bring the following things with you to the writing lab: a credit card or pay cash tin advance to the bookkeeper, your social security number, your drivers license, and your College Application Week folder. If you are a concurrent enrollment student make sure you know your Weber Wildcat ID number. Representatives from the universities and colleges will be here to help you with your applications.

College Awareness Week began Monday, November 9 and will be filled with fun lunchtime activities in the commons and visits from colleges. Talk to a college representative, play college bingo, and wear your college gear this week. Get excited about attending college.

Bingo cards are available in the counseling office or in your 1st period class. When you get a Bingo, turn your card into the counseling office for the grand prize drawing on Friday. The grand prize is an IPod. A door decorating contest is taking place on Monday and Tuesday with judging on Wednesday. Decorate your 1st period door with anything college. Let us see your creativity. The best door wins a doughnut party for the class. College is for everyone!
