Tuesday, Oct. 27th, 2015 – A Day

College Day & PLAN Test 

*Seniors and sophomores will be at school all day.  School begins and ends at regularly scheduled times.

*Buses will run at regular times in the morning and after school.

*Juniors will have a “late start” day. Juniors will catch their buses later in the morning and be dropped off at school at 11:45 a.m.

*Seniors will be involved in “College/Post High Day” and sophomores will take part in the PLAN Test, a precursor to the ACT.  Seniors may earn .50 attendance credit make-up for attending all 4 sessions of College/Post High Day.  Associated fees for make-up still apply!

*On Tuesday, March 1st, 2016, seniors and sophomores will have a “late start” day when juniors take the ACT.

Bell Schedule

1st PERIOD7:45 – 7:55 a.m.  (Roll taken; brief orientation) 
*Senior students excused to go to large auditorium and involved in 
College Day from 8:00 a.m. - 11:10 a.m

*Sophomores excused to go to assigned classrooms for PLAN testing from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m.

8:00 – 8:30 a.m. – Opening Session (large auditorium)
8:40 – 9:10 a.m. – Session I
9:20 – 9:50 a.m. – Session 2
10:00 – 10:30 a.m. – Session 3
10:40 – 11:10 – Session 4

PLAN Test – (Sophomores)
8:00 – 11:30 a.m. 

11:10 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. - LUNCH for seniors
11:30 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. – LUNCH for sophomores
11:45 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. – LUNCH for “late start” arriving juniors
1st PERIOD:  12:15 – 12:45 p.m.
2nd PERIOD:  12:50 – 1:20 p.m.
3rd PERIOD:  1:25 – 1:55 p.m.
4th PERIOD:  2:00 – 2:30 p.m.

Roy High Drama took 5th place over all-we are now in the TOP 5 of the state! We are moving up! And we are higher than we have ever been before!

Roy High also won "Superior School" getting superior ratings in every single category! :)

Our one act Suffragettes got "Straight Superiors"- the Highest Rating!

I am so proud of all 49 students who were there competing and helped us get these fantastic results in very difficult circumstances!
