Driver Education Roy High School 2022-2023 Schedule
This is the schedule of when Driver Education classes will be offered this year at RHS.
To get a license in Utah, students must successfully complete a driver education course, which at Roy High also includes 6 hours of driving practice on the range. After the class is completed, students are required by law to drive, at least twice, with a licensed road INSTRUCTOR before they are eligible to take the road TEST with one of our examiners.
This is not an on-demand process, and takes considerable time (think 8-12 weeks under the best circumstances). Because of this we suggest students take their driver education class as soon as they obtain their permit.

Fee: $130
Class Period: Each class is 1.5 hours long both morning and afternoon.
Morning class: Starts at 6:00 am and ends at 7:30 am. Class runs for 18 days.
Afternoon class: Starts at 2:30 pm and ends at 4:00 pm. Class runs for 18 days.
Parent Meetings will be held at 6:00 pm at Roy High School.
Attendance: Each student may only miss three hours of class time. If they miss they will be required to make up the dates to the teachers specifications.
