School Boundary Feedback

School Boundary Feedback Requested

THIS IS A LOT OF INFORMATION. PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL OF THE INFO BEFORE COMMENTING - FEEDBACK SPECIFIC TO THE POSSIBLE BOUNDARY CHANGES SHOULD BE SUBMITTED VIA THE FORM LINK AT THE END OF THIS INFORMATION.

Weber School District is re-determining school boundaries for elementaries, junior high schools, and high schools in the Weber High, Fremont High, Roy High, and future West Field High School cones. These changes will be effective for the 2024-2025 school year, when West Field High (Taylor), Mountain View Junior High (West Haven). Each school has formed a boundary committee to meet regarding these changes. Three members from each school committee will also serve on a district committee to discuss proposed changes between schools. There will be an Open House on April 20, 2023 at 6:00pm at Roy Junior High to present proposals to the public. Additional school level committee meetings and district level committee meetings will continue to occur based on public feedback, until recommendations can be made to the Weber School District Board in September 2023. The Board may request additional feedback, changes to proposals, etc - and will be given final recommendations in October 2023.

There are many things to consider when adjusting school boundaries, such as enrollment, school capacity, transportation/walk zones, diversity, etc.

You can view the CURRENT boundary maps here -

The Roy High School Boundary Committee has already met twice and would like to have more information from Roy High parents with feedback for our next meeting in February.

If you have feedback regarding future Roy High boundaries, please complete this form - Boundary feedback form. You will be asked to provide the Study Area of your residence (this can be found on the picture in this post, or on the second map linked above and would be a number)

If you have questions about the process, you may contact Mr. Martini directly. For feedback regarding Roy High boundaries, please use the form link, so that all data is compiled together for the committees.
