SENIOR NIGHT
We are very excited for our Royal Senior Night Football Game vs Northridge here at Royal Stadium this THURSDAY night, Oct 13th at 7:00 p.m.! The football game is played on Thursday and not Friday due to next week's UEA Fall Break- please help to spread the word! Our Royals are rollin' and let's get out in full force again this week as we take on the Knights!
We appreciate your awesome support this season for our Royal Football Team! Truly nothing is like a Royal Nation Home Football Game! THURSDAY is Senior Night and we will be honoring our 19 great senior football players and senior manager along with their parents before the game! Senior parents please be down on the track by 6:30 pm!
Roy High School has also chosen THURSDAY night as our breast cancer awareness game with the theme: Back the Royals and Blackout Breast Cancer! We are encouraging all of Royal Nation to wear BLACK and PINK to the game to show our Royal support in blacking out breast cancer! Special PINK football t-shirts are available for just $5 in the bookkeepers office during school hours this week. Sizes available are Adult Small, Large and Extra Large only. The PINK shirts will also be for sale at the apparel table at the game if not sold out beforehand.
Halftime on THURSDAY will be another great event featuring our Royalaires combined with the Northridge Drill Team and our Royal Marching Band- Into The Cosmos Full Show and t-shirt giveaways by Wasatch Peaks Credit Union! We want to thank all of those who have made our home football games such an amazing environment this season- truly the best show in town!
Here are a few things to keep in mind if you are planning to be at the Royal Senior Night Home Football Game vs. Northridge this THURSDAY, Oct 13th:
TICKET PRICES
*UHSAA Region 1 / 5A gate costs are as follows:
*Pre-sold game tickets will be available for purchase during the 6 a.m.-1 p.m. blanket reservation time frame on Friday. This is a great opportunity to avoid long entry lines to the ticket gate! Exact cash or check only please!-$6 for adults, $4 senior citizens / K-12th grade non-RHS students, & free for RHS students with student ID and pre-school age and younger.
BLANKET POLICY
Please read the following bullet points related to restrictions for this first home game and pass on this information to our community patrons:
*Blankets will be allowed to "reserve seats" but only under the following guidelines -
(1) They must be placed on the bleachers between 6:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday only! Access to the stadium after 1:00 p.m will be denied;
(2) For each blanket a patron uses to reserve seats, there will be a $5 charge. This charge is in addition to the cost of a ticket for the game. Assigned patrons will be available between 6 a.m. - 1 p.m. to take the $5 fee (cash or check only please- payable to Roy High School)
(3) Blankets are the only item that will be allowed to be used to reserve seats - plastic bags, taped off areas, tarps, etc., will not be allowed, as the tape being used to secure seating is causing extensive damage to the seating areas. Bungee cords or string may be used to secure blankets to bleachers. ONE blanket is allowed per $5 charge! It has come to our attention that individuals are combining multiple blankets into one in order to save additional seats. This is strictly prohibited!;
(4) Blankets will only be allowed in specific seating areas which will be marked and enforced. Once these specified areas are full, no additional blankets may be used to reserve seating in other areas.;
(5) Those interested in reserving seating via a blanket/fee must enter the stadium at the gate behind the home concession stand/press box, only. Any items placed in the stadium prior to Friday morning will be removed; do not leave anything on the bleachers after the JV or Sophomore football games on Thursdays or they will be removed.
(6) Any violations of these guidelines will result in loss of items used to secure seating and/or denied entry to the game. Non-approved items used for reserving seats will be removed!
*No canopies, umbrellas, and/or awnings will be allowed to be set up in the stadium or seating areas!
*No signs, confetti or baby powder are allowed during UHSAA/Region 1 sanctioned games!
*Royal Football shirts and gear will be sold at the home game and are available in both youth and adult sizes! Show your support of Royal Nation! Please purchase apparel items at the tables located directly east of the home side concessions stand. Cash or checks are accepted!
