Celebrate Holi Color Festival!

The Roy Theatre Department had their Region Theatre Competition this past weekend,
*Roy High received Superior School, meaning we had Straight Superior rankings in every single event!
Roy received 31 total student medals in the Theatre Individual Events Competition!

I'm very proud of the whole team, they worked very hard and gave Superior performances! 😁

We also had Yllka Islami who campaigned to be a State officer and she WON! We actually had 3 members from Weber District run for state officer and they all won (Roy, Bonneville, and Fremont).

1st Place-Ashley Carrizales
2nd Place-Serena Burge
In the Writing Competition:
1st Place-Yadira Toro (She was able to read her entry to the audience.)
The following were chosen to perform at the conference:

Group Dance-Ajah Gutierrez, Lizbeth Garcia, Jonathan Cobian, Yadira Toro, Amely Toledo, Andrew Montes, Belen Moreira, Xavier Fabian, Julianna Madrigal.
